Express Application for Online Businesses

Facts you should know:

  • Despite claims by some processors, all processors have the exact same "wholesale" cost known as Interchange & Assessments (I&A).   Interchange goes to whomever issued the credit/debit card and Assessments go to one of the respective associations of a particular card either Visa® or MasterCard® .

    There are different rates for the various card types; credit, check/offline debit, business & reward.  The rate changes depending on whether the card is : swiped, keyed, includes address verification, PO & Tax, Invoice # or line item detail.
     
  • All merchant service companies are required by Visa® & MasterCard® to disclose the processing bank as well as the city and state.  Fines can range as high as $10,000 if they don't.

    If you deal with a company that does not disclose the bank, find another processor or service provider.
