Merchants Must Prove PCI DSS Compliancy

17-Sep-2009 Every merchant worldwide must now become compliant with the new security standards mandated by the card companies through the PCI Security Council.

Large merchants, processing over one million transactions per year, were required to be compliant last year.  Level 4 merchants, those who process less than one million transactions annually, must now prove their compliancy.
